Goldbear Academy was in the beginning stages of development in late 2006. The idea was to revolutionize, no, blow out of this world, traditional cosmetology schools, and related courses of study then be sought after around the globe. By combining the industry experience offered by both highly socialized founders, along with thier deep roots in the Arts District of Silverlake, the plan was fool proof.
These two energetic young founders laid the groundwork for Goldbear to set a new untouchable standard for all future generations. Students are demanding more: more creativity, greater challenges, more of an experience, and on top of it very forward skillsets. Goldbear designed a "creatve space" and then pushed it into the artsy social scene's face, full force.
Up and coming artists were welcomed. Bands booked the space and production companys came a knockin'. The Academy was off and running on opening night.
Now all that remained was selecting students willing to take on a higher, faster paced, alternative curriculum. Simple, Goldbear wants students that fight to pave the way to thier own lucrative careers and come out on the other side certified and licensed to stylize the next groundbeaking video, and polish up the future faces of Hollywood!
